YES Student of the Month: Firaz Perisan

October’s YES Student of the Month award goes to Firaz Perisan, a high school student from Turkey who has demonstrated the spirit of volunteerism since he arrived in Roseville, C.A. In August, Perisan donated his hair to an organization that creates free wigs for children with medical conditions. In addition, he devotes time every week to volunteering in his community. Eduardo Castro was an exchange student from Ecuador who studied abroad in Dunkirk, N.Y. in 1970.
