Argentinian students visit Humboldt County
The Northwest California Area Team recently hosted a group of 13 high school students from Argentina and their chaperone. Over five weeks, the students attended locals schools in Humboldt County and lived with local host families. Participants shared their culture and language through presentations at local elementary, middle and high schools. The group recently returned home to Buenos Aires, Argentina. Harding Charter Preparatory High School class of 62 honors classmate
AFS friendships and ties last decades, even a lifetime. The Harding High School class of 1962 has collected $5,000 to honor classmate Nora Muller, an AFS Exchange Student from Buenos Aires, Argentina who recently passed away. The scholarship will be awarded to a Harding senior at graduation in May. Read more at The Oklahoman.
