AFS Wiki to Retire on October 31, 2017

At the National Volunteer Assembly (NVA) held this past spring in Chicago, IL we unveiled MyAFS, Help & Learning and MyAFS news. These new platforms were designed to provide AFS volunteers easy access to the tasks, information, news, resources, and training needed to support AFS programs in our teams and communities. So far the feedback that we have received has been very positive and we continue to work on developing new features and content.

We also announced at the NVA that the Help & Learning platform would replace AFS Wiki and that sometime in the near future AFS Wiki would retire. The retirement date has now been set and on October 31, 2017, AFS Wiki will no longer be accessible. All links to AFS Wiki will be redirected to the Help & Learning platform.

AFS Wiki has served AFS-USA and its volunteers and staff since 2006. It was a platform that was developed by volunteers and supported by volunteers. We owe our deepest thanks and appreciation to the AFS Wiki Sysadmins who have supported AFS Wiki these past 11 years. Please join us in thanking the following volunteers for their time, commitment, and support of AFS Wiki.

Jeff Dooley – San Diego Team
David Klawiter – One World Team
Rich Senften – Heartland KS Team
Al Russell – DelMarPA Team
