Champions Month is a nationwide initiative that focuses our host family recruitment on select AFS Exchange Students arriving in the U.S. this fall.

Throughout June, we will provide weekly emails with resources specifically geared toward local outreach for one featured student and students from a specific priority country or group. Resources will include talking points, email templates, and customizable flyers. These weekly emails will go to all Area Team Chairs and Hosting Volunteers, along with a national hosting update.

This week we are championing students from Italy!

All resources can also be found on the Promote section of MyAFS Help and Learning. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the resources or Champions Month in general, please contact Marketing at marketing@afsusa.org or reach out to your Area Team Chair.

As an added incentive, AFS Volunteers who place highlighted students in their region should contact marketing@afsusa.org and we will send them some AFS gear!
