Featured National Scholarships – Coast2Coast Italia Scholarship (New)

Coast2Coast Italia Scholarship is a full scholarship available for students that are interested in studying abroad to Italy for a year!

  • One scholarship available
  • Merit and Need-based scholarship
  • Applicant will be hosted in Reggio Emilia, Italy
  • Must qualify for financial assistance
  • May not be combined with Global Leaders Need-Based award, but applicants will be automatically be considered for both.
  • Deadline: March 14, 2019

Check out the Maine Global Explorers Scholarship for students that reside or attend high school in Maine.

  • Two scholarships of $8,000 available for any year or semester programs
  • Two scholarships of $1,000 available for any summer or global prep programs.
  • Merit scholarship
  • Available for students interested in studying abroad on an AFS year, semester, or global prep program to any country.
  • Deadline: March 1, 2019

Fundraising Resources – Sponsor an AFSer

In recent months, we’ve featured a number of AFS applicants who are utilizing our signature fundraising tool called Sponsor an AFSer. Sponsor an AFSer is a FREE online platform for students to collect donations featured on a personal blog. Like online fundraising platforms such as GoFundMe and CrowdRise, students regularly update their blogs shared with family and friends to offset the AFS program fee. Any funds raised are applied directly to the student’s AFS finance account.
