To help volunteers and staff promote our programs in the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Argentina, the Marketing Department has created a new fact sheet (below) highlighting some fun insights, benefits, and details.
You can use the following information as a reference when talking to students about opportunities to go abroad, or as a guide for helping applicants choose the program that’s right for them.
Czech Republic High School
Ideal for students interested in history, fine art, architecture, culinary arts, learning the Italian language, and joining in a family-oriented culture.
Fast Facts:
• Year program departs in the fall; semester program departs in the spring.
• Program fee: $13,200 – $15,400.
• Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
• Eligibility: Current high school students and recent graduates. Specific age requirements may apply. Must be in good academic standing (GPA of 2.5 or above).
Scholarships Available:
• Pride Scholarship (up to $4,000)
• Helen “Peggie” Miller ($5,000)
• Global Leaders (Up to $2000)
On this program students will:
- Live with a host family and experience the friendly hospitality of a Czech family.
- Attend a local high school called a “Gymnazium,” which are highly competitive.
- Develop their language skills and learn the ins-and-outs of everyday Czech life.
Highlights about life in the Czech Republic:
• Experience the beautiful views of the many mountain ranges, as well as rivers, vineyards, and farmlands.
• Indulge in the delicious Czech cuisine, which has German, Hungarian, and Polish influences, including lots of dumplings!
Hungary High School
Ideal for students passionate about gaining intimate knowledge of the Hungarian language known as Magyar and eager to explore an ancient Eastern European nation that few American teenagers get to experience!

A great fit for students eager to learn Argentine customs and the Spanish language, engage in an active social life and view breathtaking landscapes.
