Global Prep is designed to meet the needs and interests of a generation that is already changing the world. Participants will experience life abroad, engage with cultures and issues that are important to them, and gain critical skills for the future. Whether their future involves college applications or a solo trek through the Amazon, Global Prep will help students develop the confidence and cultural insight to succeed.

The tuition for our Global Prep programs is amazingly low and includes their airfare, meals, lodging, and all AFS activities.
Busy summer? No problem!
Gone are the days of sitting at home during summer break. For today’s students, summer is filled with commitments. AFS Global Prep programs give participants the important global experience they need for their college applications, but on a schedule that fits their busy life. Our programs are anywhere from 10 days to three weeks and take place at various times during June, July, and August.

Updates to Application and Fees
With the integration of Global Prep into the Customer Experience portfolio there will be some adjustments to pricing starting in 2018. Global Prep applications will now have a $200 application fee and $500 program deposit to align with the rest of our core programs.
Additionally, there will be some increases in the Global Prep program fees. Pricing is in its final stages and will be announced soon. Once program fees have been determined, our Study Abroad Specialists will notify all Global Prep applicants of the deadline to submit their Next Steps to lock in the 2017 prices. Any applicants that miss this deadline will be charged the new fee for 2018.
