Dear AFS-USA Volunteers,
Every year at this time, AFS-USA launches a campaign to raise essential funding for the organization and its mission. This year’s campaign theme is “Hometown Diplomacy,” and we’re highlighting how sharing the places we call home with citizens of other countries helps build a more just and peaceful world.
Giving Tuesday is next week, and we need your help to generate as much support as possible—for the organization, for your fellow volunteers, and for the students and families who rely on AFS-USA for life-changing intercultural learning. We are all in this together; in fact, AFS-USA Board Chair, Joan Siegel, has even agreed to match all Giving Tuesday donations up to $50K!
So please take 1 minute to like, share, and comment on this Facebook post: https://www.facebook.com/AFSUSA/posts/1485593108160970. You can include your own Hometown Diplomacy story or leave a general comment of support.
And keep an eye out for subsequent #HometownDiplomacy posts on the AFS-USA Facebook page. We need everyone’s continued help to give the campaign visibility through year-end.
Thank you so much for everything you do for AFS-USA. Now let’s encourage others to support our mission this Giving Tuesday!
