We are excited to announce the newest member of the Participant Support Department, Alyssa Berusch!
Alyssa attended the University of Albany and graduated in 2013 with a B.A. in Psychology and European history. She studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain during her undergraduate studies where she furthered her love of travel, culture, and language. After graduation, she worked for Project Hope, a FEMA-funded program working with victims of Hurricane Sandy. This work experience influenced her return to school to pursue a Master’s in Social Work with a concentration in Global Social Work with Immigrants and Refugees. She earned her MSW from Hunter College in 2016 and shortly after went on to teach English in Thailand for 6 months.
Alyssa will be working with the following Area Teams: Alaska, Arkansas, E-Z Pass, Grand Canyon (Sending only), Grand Rapids/MN, Greater Puget Sound, Lake Superior, and San Francisco Bay (Hosting only).
