Congratulations! Now that it’s June, we are officially in the final month of the NH16 hosting cycle and our students will return home soon. While we understand this can be a very emotional and busy time of year, remember that every student and their host family must have a contact recorded in the month of June, regardless of the student’s departure date.

Please pay special attention to the June contacts for your YES students, who typically leave earlier than core students. Some of these students are leaving as early as the first week of June, so we ask that you prioritize completing and recording their June contacts. Make sure you know when your YES students are departing so you have time to speak with them and their host family before departure. If you aren’t sure when your students are leaving, you can find that information on MyAFS by following the directions on this page.
