Meet 3 Students Arriving in January!

Are you looking for a way to spread some peace and love this holiday season? Why not give the gift of intercultural understanding by hosting one of these 3 students arriving in January? Doing so would change a life forever and create unforgettable memories for you and your family. Below is some more information on each of the students for you to consider.

Candelaria from Argentina goes by “Melon” with her friends and “Cande” with her family. She is described by her family as easy-going, funny, creative, organized and open. She enjoys painting, drawing, reading and listening to electronic or national rock music to help relax after a hard day at school. Currently, Candelaria is learning how to play the ukulele, as well as taking dance lessons for an annual competition. The past few years she has really improved her grades in school; her favorite subjects being history, geography and biology.

Emmanuel from Argentina is an athletic and friendly young man. His all-time favorite sport is basketball, and he practices six times a week! In his free time, he enjoys solving various types of puzzles, listening to music, as well as playing the piano. His favorite classes in school are music, geography, ethics, history, and physics. Emanuel is really looking forward to coming to the U.S. and getting to know a new culture and new traditions.

Florian (Flo) from Austria is open minded, self-confident and outgoing. He is an avid fan of soccer and tennis and plays matches on weekends. Flo is also a fan of chess and plays in the evenings with his friends. He likes to surround himself with friends and family. He looks forward to coming to the U.S. and finding new friends to share his hobbies with. Flo would like to play sports and get involved with his high school as well.
