Meet two students arriving this fall to start their adventure in the U.S.!

Ben is an outgoing, friendly student from Germany. Ben loves to meet new people and make new friends. He has a very good relationship with his family and they do many things together like cooking, going on bike tours, and watching movies. Ben likes swimming, going to the gym and cycling. He hopes to try a new sport like basketball, football or baseball during his exchange year. He is excited to see what American schools are like compared to his German school. Ben can’t wait to become a part of an American family and he looks forward to experiencing a new culture and new traditions!

Serious, dependable, and extremely optimistic Naomi from Japan is excited to follow in her mother’s footsteps and spend a year with a loving host family in the U.S. After spending the first ten years of her life in China, she understands the importance of global experiences if she wants to pursue her dream of working in a multi-national organization like the United Nations. During the week, she is busy with tennis practice two hours a day and gets to enjoy being musical on the weekends singing karaoke with some impromptu maracas, tambourines, and dance moves to complement her singing.
