Help pick the winning project!
As you may know, 8-12th grade students around the country have been submitting their international volunteer project ideas in hopes of winning our annual Project: Change contest, which is now in its fourth year.
We’re thrilled that so many teens are striving to make a difference in the world, aren’t you? If you’d like to help support our newest generation of change-makers (and see if any of them are in your Area Team), you can do so by checking out the entries and casting your vote.
Voting will be open from now until Jan. 10, 2018. You can vote for as many different projects as you want, but only once per project, per day. (Plus, you can support your favorite entries by sharing them on social media with the hashtag #afsprojectchange!)
Once the voting period closes, all entrants who have received 50 or more votes will advance to the final judging round. The Grand Prize winner will be awarded a full scholarship to put their vision into action this summer on a 10-15 day program designed around their idea, and four additional winners will receive full scholarships to join in the winning project.
Thank you for your ongoing support of initiatives like Project: Change, which help us create a more just and peaceful world.
