The AFS-USA Volunteer Recognition Awards are designed to recognize the many contributions that Volunteers, Area Teams, and Chapters make to advance the mission of AFS-USA. The Volunteer Recognition Committee encourages you to consider Volunteers and Teams who epitomize the ideals of AFS-USA and nominate them today!
The AFS-USA Emerging Leader Award recognizes a volunteer who shows the potential to be a future leader in an AFS Chapter, on a team, or on the national level. Recent past recipients include Davide Pu, a reverse returnee from Italy (who spent his exchange year in China) and David Ubogy. The recipient of the 2021 Emerging Leader Award will be announced at the AFS-USA Summit in November. Stay tuned and help us celebrate yet another deserving volunteer!
Nominations are still open for the 2021 Volunteer Awards! There are numerous outstanding volunteers who have received local recognition from their Teams. The national awards are an opportunity to select and nominate dedicated volunteers from your Teams to be recognized on a national level.
