Travel Update for NH19 Semester Returns on 8/9 January 2020

It’s almost January and that means our semester NH19 students are going home.  If your team is hosting a student on the smNH19 program, we would like to let you know that we have begun emailing the return travel details to students and their host families. The email includes their e-ticket(s),  a return letter with general travel instructions and emergency contact information on the day of travel.  For students departing from the Chicago and New York gateways , they will travel domestically on 8 January, overnight and fly out on 9 January.  Their emails will include their domestic e-tickets or ground transportation instructions. They will receive their international tickets upon check in on the 9th.

We have cc’d their liaison, linked support coordinator, Hosting Program Specialist and Volunteer Services Specialist.

If you would like to pull a report for your participants, please go to Global Link/Reports/Travel Report and run either the Departure Travel Detail by Area Team or Departure Travel Summary by Area Team.  You may also view their travel details in their GL record.

If you have any questions regarding return travel for these students, please email us at afshosttravel@afsusa.org. Please remember to include the student’s full legal name and country.  If a student has any questions regarding luggage, they must call the airline directly.
