As part of the Marketing Webinar Series, AFS-USA and Brenda Siragusa will be hosting a webinar centered on valuing diversity and creating a space where all are seen, respected, and included. Come along with us on a journey to explore unconscious/implicit bias, learn why language matters, and an introduction to gender.

Brenda has been an advocate for AFS since the early 80s. In northern New Jersey, she served as her high school’s AFS president for two years, hosted students from Norway, New Zealand, and Germany, and stayed with an AFS host family in Brazil.
Brenda’s professional experience includes organizational development and strategy for a variety of companies such as Disney Home Entertainment, Toyota Motors, and Fender Musical Instruments. Among many other accomplishments and ventures, Brenda has worked with the Intercultural Communications Institute to put their intercultural behavioral assessments into an online environment for a global audience. A native New Yorker, Brenda is a member of the Columbia Pacific area team and resides in the Portland, OR area where she enjoys participating in all the Pacific Northwest has to offer, volunteers with area non-profits, and teaches meditation.
