We know there are a lot of places to find marketing materials! To help make your sending promotion efforts a bit more effortless, here is a rundown of all our new and current sending materials. Below you will find a list of everything on our and MyAFS Help and Learning.
Ordering Site Print Materials
- Bookmarks
- What is it? A small print piece that briefly mentions the three main ways to get involved with AFS – Host, Study Abroad, and Volunteer.
- Where should you use it? This piece is best used for those just learning about AFS and are unsure of how they would like to get involved.
- Global Prep Program Brochure
- What is it? A brochure that describes our Global Prep programs.
- Where should you use it? When speaking to students, parents, and educators about our Global Prep program options.
- Scholarships Brochure
- What is it? A brochure that goes into detail about our scholarship offerings. There is at least one scholarship that can be applied to each of our programs.
- Where should you use it? When speaking with guidance counselors, parents, or anyone interested in extra funding towards a study abroad experience.
- Sending Catalog
- What is it? A 25-page overview of our Sending programs including Year, Semester, Summer, and Global Prep programs. It also covers scholarships! *Please note* this piece still includes information about our AFSNext programs for participants 18 years and older. AFSNext as a stand along brand no longer exists and is now part of our general Sending programs. Though these pieces can and should be used as they give a wonderful overview of our range of programs.
- Where should you use it? This piece is best to leave with teachers and guidance counselors or interested students who are not yet sure what country or program they will choose.

- Pocket Folders
- What is it? AFS-USA branded pocket folders.
- Where should you use it? When you are giving multiple AFS print pieces to a single person. Great for tabling events and school presentations!
- Coming Soon! You can expect 11” x 17” posters focusing on Project: Change, Sending programs, and general AFS Activities. These will be great for leaving with your school contact so AFS can be present in the school even when you leave the building!

MyAFS Help & Learning – Promote AFS Materials
- Sending Fact Sheets
- What is it? Informational 1-pagers highlighting priority study abroad programs.
- Where should you use it? When you are giving a presentation or attending a tabling event and would like to give some specific program examples.
- Why AFS Flyer
- What is it? A flyer explaining why AFS is the leader in international student exchange.
- Where should you use it? If someone asks you “Why should I choose AFS”?
- AFS Scholarships “Cheat Sheet”
- What is it? Informational piece with a list of scholarships offered, their details, and FAQ section.
- Where should you use it? During tabling events or presentations when students/parents/teachers are curious about what scholarships are available.
- Global Prep Program 1-Pager
- What is it? 1-pager with all Global Prep programs listed with details.
- Where should you use it? When students are interested in short term summer programs at tabling events, classroom presentations, etc.
- 4-8 Week Programs Flyer
- What is it? 1-pager with 4-8-week programs listed with details.
- Where should you use it? When students are interested in short term summer programs at tabling events, classroom presentations, etc.
- AFS Study Abroad Program Types Flyer
- What is it? A flyer describing the different types of AFS programs.
- Where should you use it? Presentations, tabling events, or to send digitally to those interested in the types of programs AFS offers.
- Study Abroad Posters
- What is it? 24” x 36” poster – 2 versions
- Where should you use it? Provide to educators to hang in their offices or classrooms. You could also hang them on community bulletin boards.
