Judith Rosenbaum (PhD, Radboud University Nijmegen) is an AFS returnee who never stopped exploring or asking questions. As an Associate Professor of Media Studies in the Department of Communication and Journalism at the University of Maine, she has done extensive research into the role that media in general, and social media in particular, play in our lives. Judith has published in a variety of academic journals and has presented her work at conferences and universities around the world. Her first book Constructing digital cultures: Tweets, trends, race and gender appeared with Lexington in 2018. Her second book, Twitter, the public sphere, and the chaos of online deliberation, is co-edited with Gwen Bouvier and will be published by Palgrave-MacMillan in the fall of 2020.
