YES Alumna Advocates for Human Rights
AFS-hosted YES Alumna, Maria Ana Espinosa, is now a law student back in her home country and credits her study abroad experience as the main reason why she wants to be a human rights lawyer. She is currently a member of the Human Right Advocates (HRA) in the Philippines where she is learning about human rights issues in her country and helping to figure out ways victims of human rights violations can preserve their testimonies.
