Juneteenth, short for “June Nineteenth”, is the day that marks the end of slavery in the United States 157 years ago in 1865, two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed by President Abraham Lincoln. In alignment with our mission to foster inclusion, we recognize the significance of this day and the ongoing need to support Black communities in the U.S. and around the world.
