
An exciting new opportunity to travel and learn comes to you from AFS International. In partnership with AFS Spain, AFS International will be hosting the inaugural AFS Global Leadership Summit in Spain in November 2025. The event aims to inspire, connect, and equip AFS leaders worldwide, and 180 volunteers from AFS partners around the world will attend. AFS-USA volunteers in leadership roles (team chair, coordinator-level positions, etc) are invited to apply, and the application is now open! AFS-USA has reserved ten spots and will cover the program cost for those ten volunteers. Here are the details:
When: November 20-24, 2025
Where: Mollina, Málaga, Spain (Mollina is a town in the province of Málaga)
Who: Ten volunteers who have been in team leadership positions for at least six months by the end of the application window on July 14, 2025 (positions include team chair, chapter chair, coordinator-level roles, etc.)
Cost: AFS-USA will cover the $550 program fee (includes round-trip transportation from Málaga airport to Mollina, accommodation, meals, Summit activities); Volunteers who are selected to participate in the Summit will need to book and pay for their own travel to and from Málaga, Spain.
Application period: June 4 – July 14, 2025
