In summer 2026, AFS-USA will launch three one-week domestic pilot programs for youth ages 15–17, bringing our educational model – reflection, dialogue, identity awareness, and cultural agility – to immersive, place-based experiences across the U.S.
- Pathfinder: NextGen Careers (hosted at Miami University in Ohio) explores emerging fields and future-ready skills.
- Lewis and Clark: Then and Now (Pacific Northwest/Oregon) connects history with contemporary perspectives.
- The Table We Share: Food and Culture (Chicago) uses culinary exploration to build understanding and community.
Learn more about these programs by visiting the Innovation Hub (which will soon be accessible via MyAFS). We also encourage you to share this interest form with eligible students.
Thank you for helping expand the impact of AFS in new ways that are relevant to the current needs of our own country.
