Do you know any AFS-USA hosted students who have an interest in diplomacy? AFS-USA has partnered with the National Museum of American Diplomacy so students can step into the shoes of diplomats from the 1700s! Set against the backdrop of a young nation fighting for independence, students will explore how American diplomats sought support from France to secure military aid, supplies, and international legitimacy. Students will discover the challenges of finding compromise and creating alliances with other nations, putting their negotiation and writing skills to the test!
Please encourage students to join us on Sunday, November 9th at 7pm Eastern by first registering and learning more here. For Sponsored Programs students, this will count as an enrichment activity. If you have any questions, please contact Natalie Rehberger at nrehberger@afsusa.org.
