Giving Tuesday is tomorrow, December 3! Share our Facebook Fundraiser @AFSUSA with your friends early morning on GivingTuesday and help us advance the mission of AFS-USA. Every dollar will count TWICE—Facebook will match the first $7 million of gifts made via its platform!

​The Development Department, with support from Communications, Alumni Relations and Marketing, is rolling out AFS-USA’s end-of-year fundraising campaign titled “AFSers Were Made for Times Like These.” The campaign, launched over email and social media, incorporates Giving Tuesday on December 3, and will stretch through the end of December.

Giving Tuesday is a pivotal moment of our campaign. We have kicked off a special Facebook Fundraiser to appeal mostly to our young online audience, many of whom have never given before. Our Facebook Fundraiser goal is $2,500. Only on Giving Tuesday, starting 8:00 AM EST (5:00 AM PST), donations will be matched dollar for dollar by Facebook on a first-come, first-served basis up to $7,000,000 USD. And 100% of these donations will go to AFS-USA.
