Hiring: Program Coordinators for STEM Innovators in Texas!

The 2025 AFS Global STEM Innovators is now recruiting for On-Site Program Coordinators to support in the delivery of the in-person program in Houston this July. All interested applicants can apply here.

The AFS Global STEM Innovators program in Houston will host approximately 27 participants, aged 15 to 17, from across the United States. This domestic exchange program will provide immersive learning experiences through hands-on workshops centered on STEM, innovation, and global skills.

On-Site Program Coordinators will:

  • Live in the University of Houston campus dorms and interact with participants from Thursday, July 17 – Thursday, July 24, 2025. (~1 week)
  • Facilitate Workshop Sessions and on-campus activities
  • Accompany participants to/from meals, workshops, activities, and off-campus excursions
  • Support and interact with participants to ensure a quality and enriching experience
  • Work from a fixed schedule, but be available and willing to be called into service at any time to meet participants’ needs
  • Serve as a role model to participants and abide by all University of Houston and AFS program policies
  • Adopt the goals of maintaining a safe, secure, and comfortable living and learning environment for participants and staff
