Global Learning Week (GLW) is coming up in November, and we hope you will join the AFS community in celebrating international education during this exciting week-long event! 

GLW is an AFS-USA initiative that celebrates international exchange and year-round cross-cultural connections by exposing communities to different cultures and perspectives. During the week of November 17 – 21, we’re calling on AFSers to embody the goals of this initiative!  

As part of this celebration, we encourage hosted students, volunteers, study abroad alumni, host families, staff, and others to give cultural presentations in their community to promote the AFS mission and the power of exchange. Hosted students will be receiving information via email and will be directed to this Help & Learning page. Communications will also be sent during GLW to recent study abroad alumni, host families, educators, and volunteers! 

GLW 2025 digital resources will be available on Help & Learning for volunteers by the first week of November. In the meantime, you can order new giveaways and print materials to hand out during GLW at events and presentations (password: intercultural25!) – shipping takes about 3-5 business days.
