The 2026 AFS Global STEM Innovators (USA) program is in its final weeks of accepting applications. Funded by bp, this full-scholarship, 6-week hybrid exchange is open to U.S. teens (ages 15–17) interested in STEM, innovation, and global collaboration. The deadline to apply is April 10th, and 30 spots are available.
Designed as a hybrid program, scholars start with a 5-week virtual curriculum (June 1 – July 2), followed by a 1-week, in-person workshop in Chicago, Illinois (July 11 – July 17). Scholarship winners will explore real-world STEM challenges, collaborate with peers, engage with industry experts through hands-on learning, participate in immersive site visits, and gain the skills needed to solve some of today’s biggest global challenges.
