Thanks to all of the hard work and collaboration by staff and volunteers, AFS-USA is off to one of its strongest starts to a hosting season ever. As of this writing, 577 students have host families for the coming school year.

Our recently completed 10 for 10 hosting recruitment campaign was very successful, with 137 placements made during the 10 days of the challenge! All recruitment and promotional resources relating to the challenges will remain accessible here.

We continue to make improvements to MyAFS, making it easier than ever for all AFS Volunteers to get involved in finding families for our students. This week, we launched some new updates that will make using the mobile-friendly MyAFS Placements Widget even more simple. A number of filters have been added at the top of the screen so that all volunteers can easily search for available students by gender, country, age, or hobbies/activities/interests.
