How cool is this intercultural learning tool! Join us for the Webinar on July 24 and find out. This upcoming webinar will teach you all you need to know about the Monthly Learning Reflections tool, which facilitates intercultural learning (ICL) and encourages proactive support.
Come learn about an exciting ICL and support tool: Monthly Learning Reflections for AFS students (MLR).
What is it? The MLR is not the same as mandatory monthly contacts and does not replace this compliance requirement. Rather, the MLR is an additional and optional resource for volunteers and students to develop new skills and cultural knowledge while also deepening their mutual relationship.
How to use it? To achieve this goal the tool offers practical suggestions for activities and discussions with students. In the webinar we will discuss the application of this tool and dive deeper into the suggested activities.
Where did it come from? This tool is a product of the collaboration among several staff across the AFS Network, who are experts in ICL and Support. Many partners have already been using the MLR in various ways.
Who is it for? Whether you facilitate orientations, serve as a liaison, or enjoy interacting with students in any other capacity, we believe that the MLR will be beneficial to you.
