Our new CBYX activity and coloring page is for children who may not be familiar with the concept of hosting and can serve as a conversation starter to gain a child’s interest in having a big brother or sister while you are tabling. Intentionally, some of the vocabulary is advanced for young children to encourage conversation with AFS volunteers or their caregivers. Additionally, the coloring page may help draw children to your table or allow you more time to talk with caregivers if you provide some crayons to keep children engaged.
Aside from tabling, you could use the coloring page during classroom presentations with children to make the presentation interactive or drop off coloring pages at local restaurants or pediatrician offices.
