We’ve published a new article highlighting the impact of hosting – and it’s a great one to share with your networks!

In this blog post, AFS-USA host parent and volunteer Tara Dolan reflects on her family’s hosting journey over the past three years. The Dolan family has welcomed students from Japan, Slovakia, and Thailand, building meaningful connections and discovering how hosting has become an essential part of their lives.

Originally connected through the AFS Volunteer Team in Western Pennsylvania, the story takes a closer look at the Dolan family’s experience hosting Hana from Japan during the 2023–24 school year and how their hosting journey has grown since.
