The National Council is a key leadership body of AFS-USA composed of volunteers and senior staff who work collaboratively, to address and advance the organizational priorities of AFS-USA. As of July 1, 2025, the council welcomed a new Chair and Vice-Chair, Patti Rounsevell (Chair) and Jessica Robinson (Co-Chair).Â
AFS-USA, in partnership with the National Council, is organizing a series of six Community Summits across the US starting this fall through the spring of 2026.
AFS-USA recently became aware of potential challenges related to visa appointment availability in Japan. This issue is specific to the US embassy in Japan.
