To kick off the 2021 AFS Summit weekend, AFS-USA President, Tara Hofmann, invites all volunteers to join her for her welcome address, starting at 8pm EDT on Thursday, November 4. During this address, Tara will provide an update on the state of the organization and identifying priorities for the future.

Also, there is still time to register for the virtual AFS Summit, which will be on November 6-7. Topics for the online sessions being offered during the weekend include hosting, study abroad, support, compliance, school outreach, sponsored programs, orientations, volunteer engagement, travel, and national volunteering opportunities. The sessions will go from 12-1:15pm EDT and from 5-6:15pm EDT on Saturday and from 1pm-6:15pm EDT on Sunday. At 5:30pm EDT on Sunday, there will be a livestreamed Question & Answer session with Tara Hofmann, as a follow-up to Thursday’s address. Please join us – and bring your questions!
