For Lacey Bruce, hosting has transformed so many different parts of her life.

Her curiosity about other cultures was sparked as a host sister when her parents welcomed AFS students from France and Brazil. As a host parent, she’s been part of the immense bond Sebastian from Switzerland and Henrik from Finland have created with her family. And as an educator, the presence of new cultures has opened doors for her students to understand and explore the world.
