Program Highlights: Czech Republic, Poland, and Hungary Global Prep

Students can experience Eastern Europe this summer with our exciting and educational Global Prep programs in the Czech Republic, Poland, and Hungary. These programs offer insightful and exciting experiences for those interested in art, architecture, language and culture, as well as current events.

Our Global Prep program in the Czech Republic offers the opportunity for students to see diverse styles of art and architecture, including art nouveau, cubism and functionalism. Students will visit the magnificent capital city of Prague, as well as the countryside. Students will also travel to Vienna, Austria during their two weeks abroad.

The Poland Global Prep program involves exploration of the cities and scenic countryside. Students will have the opportunity to explore Krakow both above and below ground. They will taste Polish cuisine and learn some Polish in conversational language classes. In addition to Krakow, students will visit Poznan, a university city in Poland. Students will finish their time in Poland in the Masurian lake district, where they will learn about pottery, and participate in fun camp activities, such as water sports.

Students participating in our Hungary Global Prep program will have an insightful and educational experience. Students will not only tour Budapest and learn about the city’s historic past, but they will also learn about the refugee crisis in Europe. Students will have the opportunity to witness the refugee crisis firsthand by visiting an open refugee camp in Biscke, Hungary. Students will also gain insight into Hungarian culture by staying with a host family during a portion of the trip.
