Summer Domestic Program Deadlines Extended!

The application deadline for two programs — Lewis and Clark: Then and Now and The Table We Share: Food and Culture — has been extended to June 5, 2026, and scholarships are still available. These programs allow students to build intercultural understanding, leadership skills, and meaningful connections with peers from across the United States.

The AFS-USA Innovation Hub includes a full set of promotional resources to make outreach easy, including:

  • Social media graphics and sample captions
  • Printable one-pagers
  • Promotional videos
  • Pre-printed flyer order forms
  • Program-specific outreach materials for volunteers and educators

You can access all promotional materials here:

Volunteers can help by:

  • Sharing graphics and posts on social media
  • Sending materials to local schools, educators, and community organizations
  • Reaching out to families and students in your networks
  • Encouraging prospective participants to learn more about the programs

These domestic programs are part of AFS-USA’s broader effort to expand intercultural learning opportunities within the United States and create spaces for dialogue, connection, and shared learning.
