Support Webinar: Crisis Plan, Best Practices, and Engagement

All volunteers are welcome to the Monthly Support Webinar: AFS Support Innovations; Team Crisis Plans, Covid Specific Best Practices and Engagement Brainstorming, on Thursday, September 17, at 8pm ET- 7pm CT- 6pm MT- 5pm PT.

As AFS welcomes its new wave of students arriving this fall, Support Staff and Volunteer leaders have worked to develop a series of new innovations intended to assist in team preparedness and guidance as we navigate the “new normal’.

It’s important to note that this webinar is open to all volunteers regardless of whether your team is hosting this year!

This Session is intended to provide an overview of some of the latest innovations being launched this cycle in response to our current realities. The second half of the Webinar will invite attendees to a group brainstorm focused on engagement opportunities given some of the current challenges presented.

Topics in this webinar will include, among others:

  • Explanation of Area Team Crisis Plan Innovation
  • Overview of Covid-19 Support Best Practices Resources
  • Group Brainstorm on Engagement ideas for our students, host families, and volunteers

The webinar will last about 1 hour. Click here to register for the webinar.
