March and April give us a powerful opportunity to pause, reflect, and show genuine appreciation to the people who make AFS possible—our host families and volunteers. Join us for this skill builder focused on turning appreciation into meaningful engagement.
Together, we’ll explore simple, authentic ways to recognize and celebrate host families during Host Family Appreciation Month (March) and volunteers during Volunteer Appreciation Month (April). You’ll leave with ideas, planning tips, and inspiration you can adapt for your team and community.
This session is designed for Volunteer Team Chairs and Volunteer Engagement Coordinators, with space for additional volunteers who support engagement and recognition for Host Families and Volunteers!
