We have received confirmation from our partners in AFS-Japan that the Spring 2022 programs will have a delayed departure until the end of May due to COVID-19 related border closures. Some participants will be offered spots on the Fall 2022 semester program. We are working with AFS-Japan to understand program options for each of our applicants. We will be sharing updated information with all applicants and parents this week and also be working individually to find the best path forward. This is disappointing news, though not wholly unexpected considering the continued COVID-19 restrictions in Japan.

AFS-Japan has also confirmed that the Summer Language Study program will be cancelled for this year. We will be notifying applicants and parents this week and working with them to either select alternative summer program destinations (which can be found here) or refunding their program deposits.
