YES Abroad Application Deadline is September 22nd

If you haven’t already, please share with students, schools, and educators in your community the opportunity for a fully funded scholarship for current high schoolers to study abroad during the spring semester via the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Abroad program.  A sample message to share with educators is below.

This merit-based program has a tight deadline, and scholarship recipients will get to live with host families and attend a local high school for an academic semester in countries around the world, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, India, Indonesia, and North Macedonia. Through the YES Abroad program, students develop leadership, language, and professional skills while expanding their worldview and gaining a new, lifelong network of friends and family overseas. Students also share information about their home culture with their hosts and local communities while building lasting relationships and strengthening the linkages between the U.S. and YES countries

I’m very excited to share with you an opportunity for our local high school students to receive a full scholarship to study abroad during the spring semester through the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Abroad program The application deadline is September 22nd, so please share this opportunity with your students ASAP!
