You’re Invited to the AFS-USA Eid al-Fitr Celebration, Tuesday, May 26!

The following was sent to hosted students who remain in the US. AFS-USA Volunteers are also welcome to attend!

Dear AFS Student,

Eid Mubarak!

Eid al-Fitr is a three-day celebration marking the end of the month of Ramadan. Muslims around the world spend this time visiting family, eating sweets and celebrating the end of their month long fast.

AFS-USA would like to invite you to a virtual Eid Celebration for both Muslim and non-Muslim AFSers. Whether or not you celebrate Eid, this will be an opportunity to connect with other AFSers. If your host family would like to join us in these celebrations, we welcome you to share your screen with them.

When: May 26, 2020 11:00 AM Eastern Time (US and Canada)

Register in advance for this meeting:
