Every year AFS-USA needs your help in identifying educators and schools who are demonstrating a commitment to cultivating active global citizenship in their communities. This looks different in every town across the country. It could be an educator who sponsors an international club and always works hard to help the AFS students feel welcome each year. It could be a school that has a handful (or more) initiatives to build an inclusive and welcoming learning space for kids from every background and they support and encourage intercultural exchange in all of its forms. If you know of an educator or school that fits these descriptions or something similar, please consider writing a letter of nomination for them and sharing a few examples of what they do (photos, social media posts, newsletters, etc.) Nominations are due on November 24 (before Thanksgiving). Learn more and nominate an educator or school today. We want to invite those winners to join us at the ECA Workshop in March to receive their award in person!
