One of the most exciting times of the year for exchange students and host families is Halloween. Many exchange students have never had the opportunity to celebrate this spook-tacular holiday, which means it’s the perfect opportunity to try new things together! 

This year, we’re inviting hosted students and host families to join our AFS-USA Halloween Photo & Video Contest! It’s a chance to show off their costumes with a spooky family photo or send us videos of them participating in other fun Halloween activities and events together, like pumpkin carving or visiting a local festival. 

To participate in the contest, hosted students and host families should tag us in their social media posts (@afs_usa) and/or send us their photos and videos using our submission form – we’ll be handing out some fun prizes to our winners!
