| Dear AFS-USA Volunteers,
I hope you will take the time to view the video linked below. Thanks to nearly 2,000 members of the AFS Family, AFS-USA met the $500,000 Candace and Bert Forbes Challenge! This means that we have raised a total of $1MM to help AFS-USA during what continues to be the most challenging time we have ever faced. While we are not ‘out of the woods,’ yet, we are feeling hopeful and inspired by you all. As we plan for our post Covid-19 future, we are proud to let you know that we are able to host and send, in total, about 100 students this year. Never in our history have we had to cease program operations, so thankfully this year is no exception and we will be able to fulfill some of our students’ dreams.
Please stay with us, especially now. We need you—your inspirational words and stories, your gifts (especially as we approach year-end) and your active global citizenship that supports the mission.
