A broad workgroup of staff and volunteers have consolidated and cleaned up volunteer affiliations and role descriptions to enable more effective communication with volunteers.
In the article “Students Can Save America’s Foreign Policy Agenda”, recently published by the Harvard International Review, AFS Alumni Dr. Patrick Mendis and Dominique Reichenbach describe the importance of international education and people-to-people exchanges, like those offered by #afsusa, in repairing and improving “American credibility, image, and reputation abroad”.
