It’s the last week to apply to be a 2026 Flight Chaperone, Belo Chaperone, or Program Leader! Applications and references must be received by 11:59pm EST on January 12, 2026.

Travel Chaperones and Program Leaders provide important support to traveling students and enjoy the opportunity to travel internationally (or domestically on Belo USA trips) as an AFS representative. As a Flight Chaperone, you’d accompany students arriving to or departing the US by plane. As a Belo Chaperone, you’d meet students at the beginning of their bus tour and participate in the Belo activities with the students. As a Program Leader, you’d travel with the students to their summer program and then be immersed in the entirety of the program with them.
