The Study Abroad Team and Study Abroad Advisory Group are pleased and honored to have launched the new Global Citizen Scholarship and Aid process. Through input from students, parents/guardians, and volunteers, and with the help of our Marketing, Development, and IT staff, we’ve launched an application journey that ensures that all applicants have simple and straightforward access to the scholarship and aid application process, helping them achieve their study abroad goals.

We would like to invite all volunteers to join an upcoming webinar to learn more about the new scholarship process and about the exciting programs available to US students. During the webinar, AFS-USA President Tara Hofmann, who has been a driving force behind the pursuit of our expanded scholarship and aid program, will be joined by members of the AFS-USA Study Abroad Team and members of the Study Abroad Advisory Group.

The Study Abroad Advisory Group would like to encourage any volunteer involved with the promotion of AFS-USA Study Abroad programs to attend. This will be the first in a series of national calls geared toward building relationships, communication, brainstorming, and collaboration among study abroad volunteers across the country.
