The Sponsored Programs Team is excited to announce a new training course, Sponsored Programs Up Close. This training is designed to give volunteers a detailed overview of the ECA Programs that the Sponsored Programs department implements and the many aspects involved, including:

• The relationship between AFS-USA and the Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA).
• Descriptions of the specific ECA programs and the role that Sponsored Programs plays in implementing them.
• ECA program funding and partner organizations also involved in implementing programs.
• The ways in which volunteers successfully engage with ECA Programs.

We encourage new volunteers or volunteers who are new to working with ECA Programs participants to complete this training and expand their understanding of ECA Programs!
