Having a roadmap of small, simple tasks is a great way to help new volunteers find their way. AFS-USA’s School Outreach Advisory Group is proud to share the first roadmap to encourage volunteers to connect with local schools. The roadmap has 3 levels so once a new volunteer reaches the end of the first roadmap, they can begin sailing onto the second level. Each roadmap has a driver’s manual on the back to help new volunteers navigate to their destination of becoming a school outreach volunteer. This is a perfect fit role for new volunteers like returnees, host families, and those that aren’t super familiar with AFS. We hope you get some great mileage out of these roadmaps!
