Save the Date! National Support Workshop

Please save the date for: Tuesday July 27th, and Wednesday July 28th starting at 6pm EST and Saturday, July 31st starting at 1pm EST!

The Workshop is open to all Liaisons, Support Coordinators, Associate Support Coordinators, or any AFS Volunteer who is interested in support! The aim of the workshop will be to:

  • Assist all Area Teams in preparing for the new and upcoming cycle,
  • Provide helpful “refreshers” for Support volunteers who have been away from the role for a year or more,
  • Disseminate important information about how AFS-USA has (and will continue to) navigate the exchange experience and ensure quality support for all students and families during a pandemic, and
  • Provide training to new volunteers and prospective volunteers

Further session information and a workshop schedule will be sent out in the coming weeks.

All trainings and materials will also be made available to all volunteers and volunteer leaders for team-use after the workshop is complete.
